WELCOME TO THE MUSIC MEN CHORUS OF THE PALOMAR PACIFIC CHAPTER
OF THE BARBERSHOP HARMONY SOCIETY
We are so very pleased that you are interested in visiting or joining us to share the joy of singing! As a guest, you are welcome to serve as an evening audience for us, or to sing with us as we rehearse our repertoire.
Our members have fun, while being dedicated to creating a musical experience enjoyable to everyone — our audience, our members and our Musical Director.
Feel free to ask questions during your visit and to sing along if you know one of the songs on our rehearsal agenda.
HOW DO I JOIN THE MUSIC MEN CHORUS?
Our members collectively love to sing, but we are not a community of professional singers.
What we expect of you is to be able to sing in tune, listen to the other members of the chorus, and learn the lyrics of songs that aren’t already familiar to you. While knowing how to read music is very helpful, it isn’t absolutely necessary. Our members have access to learning tracks for all of our songs within our website.
If this sounds interesting to you, please join us for three weekly rehearsals. We’ll provide you with an opportunity to be placed into the chorus singing a part that aligns with your voice. When you’ve decided that you are ready to join, please notify our Membership Chair Joe Pascucci at 760-845-3593. We’ll arrange a conversation with our Chapter President,Joe Pascucci; our Music Chair ,Charlie Wendt; and our Secretary ,Roger Hufferd that will cover uniforms (vests and ties are provided by the Chapter), as well as Society, District and Chapter dues and other relevant items. Following approval of your membership, you would then be added to our website and provided access to our songs.

We meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 9:30 PM at the San Marcos Lutheran Church, 3419 Grand Avenue, in San Marcos.
